We are the controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy question, email info@shukis.nl.

1. Website visits and cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the website working. Optional cookies (preferences, statistics, marketing) are only set after you give consent via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Lawful basis: consent.

2. Contact and enquiry forms
When you contact us we use your name, email, phone number and the details you share about your dog, to answer your enquiry and prepare advice. Lawful basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest.

3. Bookings (training and boarding)
For bookings we use your details, your dog's details, dates and practical care information, to run the booking, care for your dog safely and communicate with you. Lawful basis: contract.

4. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive payment confirmation and invoice data, never your full card details. Lawful basis: contract.

5. Training records
We keep notes about behaviour, progress and recommendations so we can follow your dog's process over time and provide lifetime follow-up support. Lawful basis: contract and legitimate interest.

Who we share data with
Service providers who process data on our behalf: our website and booking platforms, our payment provider, and our accountant. Only with your cookie consent: statistics and marketing partners, including Google and Meta. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers
Some providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 12 months. Booking and financial records: 7 years, as required for tax purposes. Training records: kept while the follow-up relationship lasts. Website statistics: aggregated form only.

Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@shukis.nl and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies
Our cookie banner lets you choose exactly which optional cookies you allow. Nothing optional runs before you decide. You can change your choice any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
